First Quarter Moon Drop — May 2025: Cosmic Pulse
As the Moon moves into its First Quarter phase on May 4th, we arrive at a turning point—the midpoint between the Taurus New Moon and the upcoming Scorpio Full Moon on May 12. It’s a moment to pause and assess: What has begun to stir? What is unfurling from the seeds you planted at the New Moon?
✨ Time to check in:
What was your breakthrough?
How are you feeling now?
How are you tending to the seeds of your New Moon intentions?
Every First Quarter Moon marks a natural square between the current Moon and its earlier New Moon position—a dynamic tension that calls for action. It’s a moment to commit, adjust, and push forward.
This one occurs in Leo, and just a day prior, the Moon conjoined Mars in Leo. This fiery meet-up energizes our sense of drive and desire, urging us to stay connected to what truly brings us joy. Mars insists: Keep going! Keep doing what makes you happy.
Meanwhile, Venus has just moved from the final degrees of Pisces into the beginning of Aries, immediately conjoining Neptune—freshly in Aries as well. This is new territory, a pioneering place of dreams in action. Aries is the burst, the birth, the beginning—and Venus and Neptune now get a bold infusion of Aries energy to help ignite our will to push forward in the pursuit of our beautiful dreams.
At a deeper level, Neptune dissolves what is not spiritually coherent. It can bring disillusionment when illusions fall away, but always in service of clarity and surrender to something greater. We’re being asked to let our dreams be shaped not by ego, but by essence.
💫 Ask yourself:
How might my dreams unfold through the lens of service?
Which of my gifts and talents am I now courageous enough to share in a way that enriches others?
Being of service doesn’t mean sacrificing yourself. It simply means recognizing that your essence is a gift. Your joy is a gift. Your talents are meant to be shared—not for approval, but as an offering. The shift is in perspective: it’s not all about you, but you are an integral part of the whole. There’s a deeper joy in knowing your presence touches others.

Also at this time, Mercury in Aries approaches a conjunction with Chiron, the Wounded Healer, which has been in Aries since 2018. When Mercury comes around to Chiron, as it does about three times a year, we’re invited to bring curiosity and new perspective into our wounded places.
Mercury helps us reframe through the power of curiosity: What if your wound is part of your wisdom? What if the very thing that hurt you is what makes your voice meaningful to others?
Let that truth dissolve your suffering. Your story matters, because of its texture. Your experiences give you a message. And messages want to be shared.
So keep going. Keep doing what you’re doing. And see how much more courageous you feel when you ask:
✨ What if everything is going to be okay?
✨ What if everything already is okay?
✨ What if the Universe is always conspiring to make it okay?
May gratitude lift your spirits.
May your creativity run wild. 🌟
Love and Lightning,
Amy
